Ég heiti Ólöf Helga Jónsdóttir og ég verð 17 ára 22. september næstkomandi. Ég á heima í Akrakoti sem er sveitabær rétt fyrir utan Akranes. Pabbi minn heitir Jón og mamma mín heitir Sigurveig, ég á fjögur systkini, þrjú eldri og eitt yngra en ég. Ég stunda nám við Fjölbrautarskóla Vesturlands á Akranesi (FVA) og er ég á öðru ári á náttúrufræðibraut. Síðastliðin tvö sumur hef ég verið að vinna í fataverslun sem heitir Vero Moda og er staðsett í Reykjavík. En framtíðin er enn óráðin, en þegar ég hef lokið námi í FVA þá stefni ég að sjálfsögðu á að fara í háskóla hérlendis eða fara í eitthvað ákveðið nám erlendis, sem ég reyndar veit ekki enþá hvað verður.
 

     My name is Ólöf Helga Jónsdóttir and I will be 17 years old next September 22. I live at Akrakot which is a farm near a small town called Akranes. My father is named Jón and my mother Sigurveig, I have four brothers and sisters, three that are older than I and one that is younger. I am now studying  at a comprehensive school in Akranes and this is my second year at school. Last two summers I have been working in a clothingshop called Vero Moda which is in the capital city of Iceland, Reykjavík. But my future is still not quite clear but when I have finished the comprehensive high school in Akranes I aim at going to a university here in Iceland or go abroad and learn something that I do not know yet what will be.
