Ég heiti Katrín Jóhannesdóttir og er 17 ára nemi í Fjölbrautarskólanum á Akranesi (FVA). Sjálf bý ég í Borgarnesi og fer á milli með rútu alla virka daga. Það er um 30 mín. akstur á milli Borgarness og Akraness.  Ég er á 2. ári á félagsfræðibraut og stefni á stúdentspróf. Eftir það langar mig að læra gullsmíði eða til klæðskera. 

Í Borgarnesi bý ég hjá foreldurum mínum. Mamma mín heitir Margrét og pabbi Jóhannes. Ég á tvö eldri systkini, Ingibjörgu, sem bý á Akureyri og Gumma sem býr í Reykjavík.
 

My name is Katrín Jóhannesdóttir and I am 17 years old student at a comprehensive high school in Akranes. I live in Borgarnes which is a town with a population about 2000 people. I travel from Borgarnes to Akranes by bus every morning and it takes about 30 minutes to travel. This is my  second year in sociology-line and after the final exam I want to learn to be a goldsmith or tailor. I live with my parents in Borgarnes. My mother is named Margrét and my father is named Jóhannes. I have got one older sister and one older brother. My brother is named Gummi, he lives in Reykjavík and my sister is named Ingibjörg, she lives in Akureyri.
