Name of woman:  Gudrun Gjukadottir

Where did she come from?  She was the daughter of a king.

Husband, children and things of value:  Her husbands were King Sigurdur Fafnisbani, Attila King of Huns and King Jonakur.  She and Sigurdur had Sigmundur and Svanhildur; she and Attila had two sons; she and Jonakur had Erpur, Sorli and Hamdir.

A story about Gudrun:  Sigurdur and little Sigmundur were killed and then Gudrun married Attila King of Huns.  Attila killed Gudrun's two brothers.  She avenged her brothers by killing Attila's (and her) little sons, cooked their meat and served Attila and blended their blood into Attila's beer.  Then she tried to kill herself by drowning but couldn't sink and drifted over to the land on the other side of the sea.  There she met King Jonakur and they got married.
Later on she urged her sons, Sorlai, Hamdir and Erpur, to avenge their half-sister, Svanhildur, but they all got killed.

How do we use the name of Gudrun in modern society? Gudrun is a common name of a woman.
