A story of the goddess: Loki had some problems with the giant Thjasi and in the end Loki promised to bring Idunn and her apples to Thasi. Loki then told Idunn that he had found some apples in the woods, similar to Idunn's apples. From curiousity Idunn went out into the woods with Loki and there Thjasi was waiting and kidnapped Idunn. When the gods started to miss Idunn and her apples Loki went, disguised as a bird, and brought her home. Thjasi got very angry and followed the bird Loki but the gods killed Thjasi and Idunn was saved.
